Balloon Painting, "Flight of the Swan 3"

Flight of the Swan 3
20x24 Original - Acrylic on stretched canvas
This is the third painting in an ongoing series featuring the intrepid "Swan" hot air balloon. So far I have painted the Swan flying at morning, midday, and dusk.
Balloons, to me, represent freedom and escapism from everyday life and also adventure. Available from the artist for $900.00

Water Spout Peril

"Water Spout Peril"

This Painting seemed to paint itself. I watched it evolve as I went. I had no preconceived idea as I began, and the romanticized drama played out through my brush. It reminds me of the victorian morality paintings that show man's helplessness against the forces of nature. I like it.
