Milwaukee River Lights

Original Painting - Acrylic on canvas 16x20

This is an impressionistic scene of downtown Milwaukee looking south on the river. I wanted to capture the glittering lights and their reflections on the water and also the energy and mood of the downtown area.

Milwaukee Rain

Original Painting - Acrylic on canvas 24x20
This is an impressionistic painting of Milwaukee's historic City Hall. This is the second time I've painted this building and I'm pleased with the result. The dark and misty rainy day with the glowing lights of City Hall and the downtown traffic create a soft jewel of light and reflections on the wet pavement. See more Milwaukee art here; milwaukee art
