Wood Nymph

The light values of this painting are very thick impasto, much more textured than I usually paint. I wanted to invoke the sylvan feeling of a wilderness forest stream and the innocent nude woman preparing to enter the water.

"Fallen Angel - Despair"

This painting is one of the three paintings in the "Fallen Angel" series. The androgynous winged figure has fallen to the ground in utter despair surrounded by the somber forest.

They have become my signature style and are very popular with my collectors. I also paint more traditional subjects that I call, “Traditional with a twist”, because I sometimes include unexpected elements to add a little mystery or fantasy to my paintings.
